  • Swimming! At this point we are still hoping to go swimming, but I will put a note in agendas to confirm or cancel swimming on Monday end of day. At the time of writing this, we don't have enough volunteers for this months swimming, but we will see what Monday holds. If you have a last minute opening and could join us for swimming, please email me ASAP!
  • update: we are good to go! A huge thanks to our volunteers! Please ensure your child has their swimsuit and towel in a bag to bring to the pool (plastic bags work great). Also make sure they have cloths that are warm to walk back in, toques are a great idea for wet hair and fall weather!
  • Our next swimming date is booked for Tuesday, November 17. Check your calendar to see if you're able to join us for this date!
Just a note to clarify, the swimming pool has new student-adult ratio requirements, and we need a 3-1 ratio in the water. This means we need a total of 8 volunteers for our class to go. If you're able to come just for the swimming portion the time would be around 1:00-2:30pm. If you're able to walk over with us the time is 12:45-3:10pm. Thanks in advance!

A Peek at Last Week
We had an amazing morning of discovery and hands on experiments at our Scientists in Schools day last week. Scientist Jo led us in many interesting experiments, where we learned about the scientific process of making predictions, observations, and discussing conclusions. A huge thanks to our volunteers who came out, and really made the morning possible!

Secret Blog Question: Is Mrs. Reimer having a boy or a girl?! See if you can figure it out in the picture below, and write your answer in your agenda. Remember not to tell your friends! :)
